Springtime in the Town. Partly cloudy with a slight breeze. Warmth, family, and music. It is in this spirit that we celebrate, not just for the sake of celebrating, but to honor ancestors, and nurture one another as community. With this in mind, we bring you Spring Forward, a fresh new live music series featuring home-grown artists sharing their latest work in a grown, intimate setting. This month’s session features experimental jazz ensemble Mutual Aid Project, hip hop/funk/rock collective Bandung 55, and Rachel Lastimosa of the soul/jazz/indie group Dirty Boots. Bring the homies or perhaps a hot date, this one promises to get your Saturday night started right!
Cover $10 | Grown and sexy
