The BANDUNG55 Experience

What started out as a bunch of comrades jamming together has blossomed into a full-fledged hip hop/funk/sometimes blue-sy sound collective. Featuring Jay Conui on drums, Paul Bolick on bass, Armael Malinis on keyboard, Ervin Lopez on Guitar, Tony Daquipa on percussion, Tina Shauf on background vocals, and Kiwi with the raps, they settled on their band name inspired by the first large-scale Asian-African anti-imperialist conference in Bandung, Indonesia in 1955.
